Digitizer replacement grounding issue?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 G750a with a broken Digitizer. I have replaced the digitizer with two new ones. The screen will work if at 90 degrees from the lcd, but when actually seated into place the screen will ghost touch and have 'dead' touch spots near the bottom (letters 'n' and 'm' if you were to pull up the keyboard) and sporadically. Anybody have some ideas, I have attempted putting kapton tape around the digitizer connections but don't see any bare spots that could be interfering.
