Will the Apple Watch sapphire digitizer work on apple watch sport?

I just replaced my friend's Apple Watch Sport screen with a sapphire crystal screen of an Apple Watch I bought on eBay, which was locked to an Apple ID. The repair was challenging and I bought the adhesive tape to adhere back the screen. Not sure if it's waterproof but the Apple Watch works fine with the new screen. Just FYI... I tried to repair just the glass on the screen with no luck. Replacing just the glass on the Apple Watch is a nightmare and not worth the trouble. Buy an Apple Watch on eBay like I did and replace the whole screen.

I am Porlah iRepair and offer using used Apple OEM screens because sometimes the screens alone are worth more than the watch. I would like to pinpoint that series 2 and 3 screens are not interchangeable. I experimented and they wont interchange even though they are similar. Stainless Steel and ceramic watches have different types of screens because the screens are a two piece. A regular replacement will still work. Also our goal is to maintain a watches Apple originality so it’ll be best to try to use plastic tools instead of metal.
