How to change transmission filter

I asked the Honda repair service at the Honda dealership if there was an external transmission filter and he responded that there was none. I called another dealer and got the same response. The manual didn't mention any external filter. I saw a video on Youtube of a man changing that filter. I looked on Amazon and they sell the filter. So I purchased one and I replaced it. It took about 1 hour to complete. It it located and bolted on top of the transmission. I called a large garage and they quoted $350 to change it. Here is the link to Youtube.

Thomas Pember here is a decent video showing the procedure. The filter is not a routine maintenance item. It is inside the transmission and you will have to pull the transmission to change it.
