How do I disable the light?
Is it possible to disable the light by removing the light censor ? and can i do it without doing any additonel damage ?
I so much want to get rid of that light.

If someone can find out how the light is working on the electronic end they can just reverse engineer it and find the solution, in the community there is two methods one is jailbreaking and using a custom firmware to do this the other is using the ~ds on search bar and using a magnet to the cover magnetic locking point, but this method has a fall back the screen cannot be locked, you will have to hold power button 7 second and choose screen off, to revert back to normal just restarted the kindle

Have you gone to settings and decreased the screen brightness to 0 and disabled auto brightness?

Yes I have. From my research the kindle paperwhite and voyage is not made to be completely turned of lightwise. You can set it to minimum but you can still see it in dark rooms. Don't know why. The only time there are no light is when using screensaver. Ty for fast reply.
