Sim card holder broken, how to replace it.

Hi,

I tried cutting my micro sim card to a nano sim card for my HTC desire 816 but I didn't take the different thickness of the card into account. I inserted the sim card into the sim card holder and it got stuck, so I had to pull it out with force. Since then it doesn't read any sim card.

I ordered a replacement sim card holder on eBay. How do I install this new sim card holder?

Even if we are going to replace the same , would be having problems , better buy a phone cover in such a way that it holds the sim card flap to be opened
