How much does a motor cost for a Shark Navigator vacuum?

Your Shark Navigator uses two types of motors. One for suction and the other is for the roller brush. These motors hardly ever malfunction. They stay working longer than the life of the vacuum cleaner. If it appears the motor isn’t running, more than likely it’s something else causing the problem like a switch or broken belt. Many people don’t realize that the handle must be pulled back and roller brush switch must be turned on to operate.

In my experience, the cost of the motor is going to be more than the vacuum is worth. I know those shark navigators run anywhere from $99 to $200 depending on the model, but you're probably going to be better off just buying a new vacuum unfortunately. It's surprising, because those Shark Navigators are generally very solid vacuum's.
