error. eject and turn off and refer to owners manuel.

My Wii will not play any of my Wii disc games. However it will play all downloaded games and allow me to use Netflix and so on. When we insert our Wii disc games it looks as if it tries to load. Then an Error page comes on and tells us to Eject, turn off device, and refer to owners Manual. Is the eye/lens just dusty?? Please !&&*. I'd hate to have to buy a new one. Or even pay or repair that will likely add up to what a new one would cost. Please help. Thank you.
