charging port does not work

Ok, that's a better question. If your problem is the port as you say, you have to swap charging flex cable which is pretty simple compared to Samsung normal approach of soldering port to the motherboard.

Well, not really. I was hoping for some advice on how to get access to the plug. I didn't find any repair videos on YouTube and no repair manuals — terje
