Where can I find the screen cable replacement?
Hi, I need to replace the screen cable, but I can't find the item anywhere, do someone know where can I find it?

Why do you need to replace the screen cable, that seems like an odd repair, did it break from use or what? And have you searched ebay? You might be able to find a broken laptop same as yours for very cheap which you can use for the cable and possibly other upgrades from that laptop.

Because it fell to the ground and has broken the hinge, so Iìve tried to repair but after that the screen won't work (the image is there, but the screen has no
brightness.. I've tried te screen with another laptop and it works, I've tried another screen (but a cheapy one, whit lower resolution and bad view angle) and it work in my laptop, but without control on brightness... so I think the problem is in the cable

Are you sure it is not the Lid Switch or Lid Switch wiring that is faulty? The Lid Switch controls the 'backlighting' for the screen. It opens the circuit for the backlighting power when the lid is closed. Usually it is a magnetic switch and a magnet. The switch is in the lid and the magnet in the body (it can be the other way around of course, not sure of your model). Just a thought.
Yes, Maybe try disabling that by unplugging a header or removing the magnet, its different for every laptop but that could be the issue
I don't think is that because with another panel (with lower resolution, only HD) the backlight works (but with no control on the intensity), so I thought that the problem maybe in on the cable (I know that the fullHD cable are different from the HD cable, even if they have the same form factor and connectors, right?)
Hi, Is there a part number printed on the cable? If there is, try "googling" just the number only. Do not mention MSI etc with the number
