The speaker doesn't sound like it used to when I first started using it. The music sounds muffled and distorted. the same songs sound fine through my computer speakers and my cars stereo.

To get a better sound quality check both ends of an AUX cable to see if it's plugged in correctly. Another way to get better sound quality is by checking the Bluetooth connectivity when playing songs.
