How do I replace the inner ribbon in the printer and where can I get a new ribbon?

There is not a ribbon in your printer. Instead there are ink cartridges. Here is link to a video that will help you understand how to change them. He knows as I read his question and I am confident he knows the unit doesn't have a typewriter ribbon. He means the encoder or print head flat ribbon cable.
