The screen on my V10 turns on without warning or request. When laying on a table, putting it into a holster or pocket. I can turn the screen off but it will turn back on without me doing anything to trigger it. I am very careful not to double tap the screen or touch the power button on the back. I can't find a way to stop it or make the device less sensitive. Any suggestions?

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? Due to my old V10 burning out on me my provider replaced it with a refurbished model which is having the same issue that you have so accurately described. Thank you for your help in advance.

Never found a satisfactory answer. I did find that if a dark surface is placed over the screen (like laying it face-down on a dark table), it will go into a deeper "sleep" and will not come back on unexpectedly. My wife has a V10 also and uses it in a wallet with a cover for the face. She does not experience the same problems. I have tried it with my phone and it works for me, too. I just ordered me a wallet with a screen cover last night. I prefer the phone without a cover but hate the erratic flashing on.

My LG v496 tablet has same problem. When it's in a bag it goes off and on until battery dies. My only solution is to ensure entire screen is covered. Rediculous.
