reset computer from lock screen
i dont know the password for the computer and i was wondering if theres a way i can reset it so i can get back into the computer??

Mason,
If your computer has a CD Drive then download Windows Offline NT from here: Offline NT and then use this guide: NT Guide to remove the password from the user account.
this can also be done using a USB Flashdrive instead of a CD. You may have to enable Boot from CD/DVD and USB to use it. Enabling this option is done in the BIOS. Dell laptops are usually already defaulted to boot from CD/DVD if there a bootable DVD in the drive.
