screen broken replace with other MacBook screens
So my macbook works great, except the lcd part of the screen is cracked. can i replace it with any other 13 inch macbook screen? which ones?

not sure which models will work or not........if you need to know which display you currently have, the model number or other information, this is a command line (terminal window) that will show your LCD model number and your color profile.
ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayEDID | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6
(this makes it easier to find information about replacement parts if you have this info and can ask anyone selling one what the model number is, + avoiding a very difficult job only to order and install a screen that may not work).
Using the same model screen currently installed would be your best bet for a trouble free replacement.
Of course most reputable people selling a new screen for your computer should be able to ensure it will work based on your specific model macbook information too, without model numbers for the screen.

First to start what's cracked? the glass it self? or both the glass and the LCD? To answer you Q. I'm frankly not sure if it possible to replace it with another model screen. What I do know is the airport, blue-tooth and cam inverter are all inter graded to the top case.

For the glass you could find it on eBay or here in ifixit.
