Replaced the 1DX top, everything working great except that i get error : Cannot communicate to Battery" This happened to my friend who replaced the top of his 5D Mark III. Any suggestion on how to fix this error?

Usually this happens with an aftermarket battery. Canon puts a chip in their batteries allowing the camera to better monitor the battery's charge, most aftermarket batteries don't have this chip. The "error" saying the camera cannot communicate with the battery usually has a question asking if the user wants to use the battery, just click yes the camera will work normally.

I'm surprised that no one has an answer for this common problem, many of my friends are experiencing the communication battery error. Any suggestions would be appreciated really.
