Shuts off within seconds off dock

My Moto watch won't stay on longer than a few minutes - sometimes seconds - after I take it off the dock and put it on. It is fully charged (tho will only charge to 93%). It is then unresponsive. It also gets hot to the touch. It turns back on when I put it on the dock. Not sure what happened. I live in New York, USA, but don't know where to send the watch for repairs. Anyone have advice?
