Phone Storage is not showing

When i open the Gallery its shows "You need to connect a storage device first" what is this?

When i go to settings after that Storage , in that only Internal storage is showing where is Phone Storage?

Shutdown phone and remove microSD card. Try to copy data using a computer and a USB card reader. If it does not work possibly card is defective.
