Why does start squealing
my toshiba satellite a300 starts squealing after the logo screen

squealing is usually caused by the fan as it starts up due to heat from the processor booting everything up ...fans are easy to replace and cheap if you search what fan is needed via google with laptop model you'll be able to locate one easy enough and then its just a case of removing the screws holding the base cover.
