I've read that the battery is not replaceable, but I wonder if someone has managed to replace it somehow and if so, how, and which replacements were used?

I have a backbeat pro 2 headset since 3 or 4 years and the battery recently died, I can't reload it anymore, the charging led remain red even if I let it charge several hours.
I dismanteled the headset and I saw the battery is on the left side. The battery is soldered to the PCB so if you want to change it you need a soldier iron.
The characteristics of the battery are: 5cm long and 3mm wide, 650mAh, 3,7V.
I think you can find similar batteries on internet but non official. I will try to change it mine soon, hope I will have no problem with a chinese battery.

Hello, some news about changing the battery on a backbeat pro 2.
I finally bought this battery:

Unfortunatly it is a bit to wide so i can't tighten the screws to the maximum. It's not perfect but it is acceptable.
I tighten the screws the maximum I could, so now I can't control the volume directly on the headseat. It's the only negative point.
No problem with the battery, I can now use my headset several days before listenning the "battery medium" sound.
I recommand to find a battery a little bit less wide.
There are a few I'm looking at. The original 3mm you measured sounds like the height. The one on aliexpress is 8mm. Found one on Amazon at L 50mm, W 22mm, H 7mm.
