Why does my vehicle stop when accelerated

Silas Brandon , Would be really good if you could have the vehicle scanned for trouble/diagnostic codes to see if it can lead you directly to the problem, instead of guessing. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track.

From a few forums I read, common failure item on Hyundai and KIA (cousin) cars,there could be wires damaged to or faulty crank sensor causing the problem. Below are a couple forum links to check out Trajet issues. Good luck.
