power button not responding and screen freezes

When ever i try to power on my tablet it doesn't come up, also i try to start it up by pressing the reset bottom, it came up but to proceed and unlock the screen then the screen will freeze and go to sleep. What would be the problem and how do i solve it?

What is the make and model number of your tablet?

Can you charge the battery in it OK?

Can you start it with the charger connected?
