Why does it not record past 30 seconds

I bought this camera brand-new today the photo works fine on that however when I go to record it stops and cuts out after 30 seconds they are brand-new batteries and I know it can't be broken as I have only just on Boxst I bought this camera brand-new today the photo works fine on it however when I go to record it stops and cuts out after 30 seconds they are brand-new batteries and I know it can't be broken as I have only just unboxed it! Are you using internal storage or have you got an SD card in it?

Internal but the camera has no pictures as of yet! So the memory can't be full!

Well it might surprise you to know that this camera only has 43 mb of internal storage.

Cameras like this don't come with a whole load of internal storage and the storage they do have are mostly for demo purposes.
