Power Button not working

Hi, On my LG G5 power button stopped working. phone won't turn on or off but finger scanner is working and I used for a week by tapping the screen to turn on/off. Today I pulled battery out, to figure out that it may help to reset but in vain. Now phone won't turn on as of power button. Any advice to fix existing one or I need to get replaced power button.

You can turn it on by plugging it in, than unplugging it when the screen shows the battery with a circle in it.

What about when the phone dies/ is shut down completely?
