TV stuck on mute.
Remote button has broken and stuck TV on MUTE. Everything else working. Purchased new remote but did not fix problem.

If you have your tv manufacturer remote, navigate to the settings menu and try resetting the TV to factory defaults. If you don't have your tv manufacturer remote, use the buttons on the TV to get to the settings menu and proceed from there.

cheykamp if a new remote did not resolve this issue than it is possible your IR board is defective. Give us your complete make and model number so we can try to help you out further.

I have a LG 55EF950V no TV volume thru the TV speakers. The Icon volume stays on the screen and occasionally fluctuates and turns the volume down but volume icon stays on the screen.Able to use external speakers for the volume thru av amp.

Our LG TV VOLUME is stuck on #100.... it keeps raising by itself when lowered. Unable to figure out how to fix with manufacture remote & universal remote.... we even unplug & disconnected cable receiver, still won't lower. Any ideas?

I turned on the mute button on my LG lk50, and the TV went off after sometime, I used the remote to put it back on, but it went off again. Please is the problem mute button I turned on, or is there something else?

Did it turn off again by itself or did you press the mute button again or any other button on the remote?
How long did it stay on for before turning off?
