How to fix Start button
My Start button stopped working, which is a letdown, since all my game need the Start button one way or another. I wondered how could I fix it, and of course where to get the part to fix it.

Hi!
Before you order any parts, let's take a look at what the damage might be. Follow this guide and check the rubber membrane of the Start/ Select buttons for damage or cracks. Next check the gold contacts it sits on. These need to be shiny and if there is any gunk on them, you need to clean them up with isopropyl alcohol.

I just ordered the screwdriver kit, so I'll be back with you in 2~4 days.
Ok, just got the screwdrivers. I opened it up, but the start gold contact didn't have much gunk on it. I did clean it up with some rubbing alcohol (70% Ethanol/30% water), so I'll see if it works when it will be dry. The rubber work as they should.
For those who may be curious, my GBA missed one screw to attach the circuit board.I wonder if it's Nintendo's doing to lower the cost of making the GBA.
