Hello, I researched the numbers found on this part and ordered what I thought would be the correct part. But as the picture shows the new part is twice as tall causing issues when trying to close the laptop back up. Cannot find the correct part anywhere. Assistance will be greatly appreciated.

@nedesoregon originally those are both 33UF 16V 20% Poly-Tant capacitors in a Case D2E-SM. The package of the capacitors is the D2E and the dimensions for that are :
L 7.3mm, W 4.3mm, H 1.8mm
Looks like a Panasonic 16TQC33MYFS capacitor would be a match. Mouser.com or digikey.com as well as other places should have those.

Have you tried contacting Apple? It might be possible that this part has been discontinued. You might be able to buy a non working computer as a parts machine off of eBay.

@coulman - Carlos, Sorry guy ;-{ Apple doesn't sell logic board components. Most are available from electronics supply houses.
