Problem with the Canon PowerShot A80 Digital Camera

At shooting on LCD screen there are vertical colour strips. If I am viewing photos on

my memory card which appear normal. You can't see what you'd like to take a picture of...it's

just there are vertical colour strips. Can this be fixed?

If the new pictures you take don't look right, then this sounds like a CCD imager failure. Canon has an on-going free repair program for this. See this link:

However, if the new pictures you take look okay, then you've got another problem.
