Is the screen still showing an image?

If so, connect a USB mouse via an OTG adapter cable (this one should work OK) and use it to navigate through the phone.

Make sure that the phone's battery is fully charged before you do this, as it will be supplying the power for the mouse and therefore it will be discharged more quickly than normal.

If you have to enter a pin number to gain access to the phone, use a USB keyboard via the OTG connection to key in the pin number, then swap over to the mouse to navigate. Change the security entry method so that you don't have to enter the pin all the time. Also suspend the screen timeout as well. Be aware that not all keyboards will work when using this method. If you have a pattern code then unfortunately the above methods will not work

Either make a backup of all your personal data or of the phone so that you will have it if something goes awry with replacing the LCD screen / digitizer.
