I have archos 7 home tablet, O.S android 2.1 (Eclair), I was trying to update the firmware but all of a sudden it went dead and I can't get it to work again if possible any one can help.

just plug it into charger and push a pin into the reset hole on th back and it will reset.follow the touch screen calibration and your done

thnak you boss, for answering me back but unfotunetly it didn't work at all there is nothing at all the screen is totally black.
if you can please advise or have any other ideas, I would apriciate it.

my archos turns on but that is it no mane pager no mane screen nothing just says archos entertainment your way. and that is it can any1 help me out or is my archos dead...please please help

mine is literally the same! It is an archos Access 101 3g but is just dead

my archos wont do anything when I turn it on all it said archos entertainment your way nothing more can some1 please please help me out

Unfortunately my Archos 7 has the same problem and like yours it just shows a black screen, i have tried almost everything to get it working again, even my PC does not see it in My Computer so unless a miracle occurs it has to go to the big tablet bin in the sky.
