brand new cannot get screen display

first I would make sure you have given the phone a good charge. Next, try to turn the phone on by holding down the lock button on the side of the device. If this is not working, try following the battery replacement guide until you get to the step where you remove the battery. Once you have removed the battery, put it back into place and attempt to turn the phone on again.

If it is still not working, and there are no lights/sounds that occur when you try to power on the device, the problem is likely due to a bad battery or charger. You should try a different charger and if that doesn't work, then you should order a replacement battery and follow the battery replacement guide, or get in contact with whoever you purchased the phone from.

If there are sounds that play or lights that illuminate when attempting to power on the device, but nothing on the screen lights up, then the problem is likely due to a bad connection to the screen, or a bad screen itself. You should try following the screen replacement guide to the point where you take the screen out, then follow the steps in reverse to reinstall the screen, taking care to make sure all connections are tight and secure.

Try powering on the device once more, and if there are lights and sounds, but nothing displays on the screen, then you should order a replacement screen or get in contact with whoever you purchased the phone from.

I had the same problem. Solution is to remove the battery and hold the power with the battery removed. Wait 10 seconds holding it down and re insert the battery. Now It should turn on.
