@rc222 without seeing it and only going by your description, this sounds like a broken LCD display. Post an iame of what your screen shows you. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide 기존 질문에 이미지 추가하기 for that.
If it is the LCD screen it will be difficult and expensive to try to replace it. those screens are ‘‘‘not’’’ readily available. you may have to take a look at the back of the LCD panel and check the manufactures label. With the right number for the panel you can try an online search and see what you can find.

If the screen is cracked it will be difficult to find a replacement screen, if at all.
If you do happen to find one (see Most Helpful Answer above how) don't be surprised that it may cost nearly half as much as a new TV.
The best option is to advertise the TV as "faulty screen, good for parts" to try and recoup some of the cost towards a new TV.
Working TV boards are always in demand.
