How do I replace the keyboard?

I bought a keyboard replacement online, but when I opened my laptop I found that the keyboard is sort of trapped behind a metal plate and there is no way to remove the old keyboard from the hand resting part without breaking it

It’s impossible. Dell made it so that you have to replace the whole front plate. Basically it’s not worth it to replace it.
