Valve cover has the following stamped on it Model Type Code 31A507 0871 05 120322ZD. Reqire Exhaust and Intake valve setting for this particular model. Thank you.

Hi,
Not quite sure if this is for your model but here is a link to a download page for the Briggs and Stratton 31A507 0871 series engines.
Scroll down to the section under Parts manual - 31a507-0871-G5 (this is where I’m not sure as your reference says 05 and it says G5) and download the English operators manual Operator's Manual - Engine, Models 210000 310000
In the manual scroll down to p.11 to view the specs for a Model:310000 (it’s a 501cc displacement engine). It shows the specs that you wanted.
If it is the wrong engine, apologies.
Try this link and perhaps you may be able to find the correct engine information.

It's a 310000 series Briggs ohv single cylinder engine...intake is .004" and exhaust is .006"....both settings have +/- .001" range...
