optical steady shot lens
the lens used to work fine, but I dropped it. since then my camera says it is not properly attached & it will not recognize it. optical steady shot lens 1650
any ideas how to fix it?

Hi,
Simple questions first: Did you check if the electronic contacts got dirty when you dropped the lens? Did you look at a tear down, e.g. this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9umAQ1-.... It seems like there are directly flat cables below the first 4 screws. I would start by taking them out and putting them in again. This stuff easily gets bad contact.
