printer will not pick up paper

First of all, make sure you’re using good quality paper and that it’s been stored such that it has had no chance whatever to pick up moisture. Try turning the stack of paper over in the paper tray so that any curl is curling the other way. Then, clean all the rollers and guides with isopropyl alcohol. It may be challenging to see or reach them all, but while you’re about it, look out for any sign of broken or damaged guides or any other parts, also any fragments of paper from a paper jam. And obviously, make sure the paper tray locates in the printer positively as it should.
