Olympus FE210 with a broken battery cover. how to replace it with a new one. it is help in place by a pin much like a watch band. do you have to take the whole camera apart- remove all 7 screws to replace the door?

You won't need to take the entire camera apart in order to replace the door. You will, unfortunately, need to remove the front casing of the device which will require you to unscrew those 7 screws. The guide on how to do so is here:
It's pretty simple and shouldn't take too long.
