Announced on July 2015, this is Motorola's flagship phone. It has a 21 mega pixel camera with a 5.7 inch IPS TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 making it Quad HD. Model number XT1570, XT1579, XT1575 and XT1578.

I replaced sceen, now there's sound but no picture

I replaced the screen on this phone twice now with no issues. This last time, I replaced the screen & powered on to hear the intro sound on a black screen. I’ve checked all connections & even re-attached the old screen (which just had a “dead spot”). Could it be the motherboard? Is this something repairable?

I don’t know moto phone but with iphone it looks like a backlight destruction usually cause by a replacement with power available on mother board (battery still connected)

The battery was definitely unplugged when the part was replaced. I may have bent the component I plugged the screen into on the motherboard. Is there a way to get a specific part from the motherboard besides buying a used phone for the parts?
