TCL TV - Red Background

My TCL when turned on has a red, speckled background, this fades but re-appears in splotches when playing???????

many thanks for the hints. Here’s what I’ve tried; upgrading software - none available, re-setting all, moving to a different power point, unplugging all attached & re-attaching one-by-one all without sucess.

What is the model number of the TV?

Try using different inputs or signal sources (e.g. DVD player etc) to see if it occurs all the time or only from a particular signal source or input.

Post some pictures of the "speckled background" and the "splotches" so that it can be seen what it looks like.

looks like polarizing issues and a new main board will most likely resolve this. Of course make sure that you test your TV with all input sources and check your wiring as well.
