How do I replace the power port in a kindle 3?

Pretty sure on Kindles the charge port is micro-soldered the the logic board. Unless you have knowledge of how to do this then it’s going to be vary hard to fix it. Is the device just not taking a charge? Have you tried another charge cable and brick? The charge port could also be dirty and just need to be cleaned out.

Look in the tear down thy take most of it apart maybe you can figure the rest out.
