replacing a shattered screen
can you replace just the glass on the apple watch series 3 42mm watch and not have to replace the whole digitizer

The apple watch is not made to be taken apart and repaired. If you take it apart it loses its water resistant seal. If you find parts they are going to be not cheap. Then we get to glue and clamp the watch back together. Super glue and silicone. Good luck with the Apple store is my advice, don't giving this to one people's at the mall.

this answer above goes against all common sense. You have the same issues with every iPhone iPad etc. Actually shocked that it was even posted here

In my opinion if something can be assembled it can be disassembled. If they make replacement parts why not give it a shot? It makes a good hobby. There is a feeling of satisfaction when a repair is completed. Best of luck to all of you.
