I am also experiencing this issue! The digitizer stops responding once you turn the phone off and then back on… it’s a little annoying to say the least. Any guidance on this would be awesome!

Thanks

I’ve researched and asked local shops as well most have just blamed it on the current quality of the parts on the market being low. Are shop has suspended repairs at the time do to the large warranty rate of the XT models

You have to do a hard restart. It’s the only way I’ve found to do it.

Could you clarify how you did that? I had the battery cable disconnected, replaced the screen with no problem, and turned the phone on without issue. The problem is that the touch doesn't register, no matter how many times I fiddle with the battery. This was a straightforward, easy fix up until this point.

When he says hard reset, he's likely referring to a factory reset.

I haven't replaced the screen on this device yet, but I plan to soon. I'll let you know if I run into this issue and have I might fix it.
