What model is the MSI mainboard?

If on POST Screen you can press on the Tab key to see more info.

Normally stalled / error hard disk, faulty drives connecting to the sata ports, etc can stall the detection.

I would suggest you to remove the sata drives one by one to eliminate or find the issues.

if all has been removed, but there is no improvement, consider clearing your cmos and see if it help.

one note you have to consider before clearing cmos is if you have bitlocker enabled.

clear will ask for recovery key.

go ahead if you have backup recovery key.

lastly is to update the bios
