Recently, my IPad Pro’s USB C port stop working, and apple is charging me 650$ in replacement price.
I look through the shop, but don’t seem to be able to find a replacement for the USB C port. Can someone help me, this is going to the first time I’m doing a repair on my own device.

Most likely corrsion in the usb c port… happened to me, my solution is to open the ipad, take out the usb c part, clean it, place it back, then it works fine.
though i cracked the screen in the process

Where you using an Apple charger and the cable that came with it?
Did you physically damage the socket?

@danj I have only been using the Apple charger / adapter that came with my Ipad Pro, nothing else.
