Menu scrolling through itself like crazy
My Sony A7S Mark 2 is moving the menu by it self please how do I fix this?

The issue could be that you need to replace the buttons, but it's likely that a ribbon cable isn't fully connected or it is damaged. This issue can be found in other devices such as the Sony Dualshock 3 and the Asus Zenbook.

Sounds like a "Stuck Button" Problem. Common with most devices that you use the buttons, when they aren't cleaned they can stick. Even if the "External Buttons", or the button layovers, are cleaned, the internal buttons may be dirty. Try cleaning the buttons with Isopropyl Alcohol, and a soft electronics towel. If that doesn't work, check the cables and clean the internal buttons and cables if necessary.

hi, i have the same problem with my Sony A7ii. Menus switching on its own and sometimes goes back to normal then switching and scrolls again.

Very late reply. Got mine fixed at the nearest camera repair shop for USD65.
They say this is a common problem with Sony A7II after sometime...
