4 Wheel drive not engageing
I have a 2008 model Kia Sorrento and the 4 wheel drive only engages on the odd occasion and not every time I turn the knob to engage it? Could this be a dodgy solenoid?

I would give a good inspection to the 4WD computer, they are not well sealed and are prone to water damage and corrosion, should be under the center console in front near the gas pedal area. Do the lights come on when you select 4WD or not when its not working? The computer controls the ground circuit.
