How to soft/hard reset mini jambox

Hello,

I’ve looked everywhere trying to find out how to soft reset and hard reset a Jawbone Mini Jambox but it’s like searching for the Holy Grail. Does anyone know how to do it or where I can find the info on how to do it?

I'm having the same issue. I'm nervous about the firmware update. It looks sketchy. I got a warning not to proceed.

For me what worked was I did exactly like the video 1 turned it on 2 plugged it in while pressing the button 3 clicking the button multiple times 4 leaving it pressed for a couple of seconds 5 turned it off and turned it back on and then it started going red and white. And thats when it connected

Factory reset method for Jambox and Jawbone products.

  1. Turn off the speaker/headset.
  2. Hold down the Talk button, the largest round button on top for speakers.
  3. Plug into a USB charger.
  4. Release the Talk button, the light on the power switch should now glow red.
  5. Unplug from the USB charger.
  6. Wait a few seconds, then power on.

The speaker or headset should be reset and ready to pair with new devices.

For a newly reset headset, to put it into Pairing Mode, press the Talk button for 3-4 seconds to turn it off, then press the Talk button and Noise Assassin buttons down together until both white and red lights flash. The default passkey if asked for is 0000
