My galaxy view was dropped a long time ago and eventually weakened and broke at the charging port. Now the battery is dead ,it wont power on and all my pictures,videos etc, are stuck inside. Is there any way to fix it or at least get my stuff out of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated,Thanks

Do you mean that the charging port is broken or that the motherboard is broken in the area of the charge port?
Here’s a link to the ifixit Samsung Galaxy View Motherboard Replacement guide.
This should help you to open the tablet to gain access to the motherboard so that the damage can be ascertained.
If the problem is the charge port here’s an image of the charge port as seen in Step.13 of the guide. I’ve also added a close up view.

It is a plug in module -supplier example only so it should be easy to swap out. There may be other suppliers that suit you better, just search for Galaxy View parts or Galaxy View DC charge port to get results.
If it is the charge port or you can repair the problem if it is on the motherboard, the tablet still may not start even with the charger connected due to the failed battery. If this is the case let it “charge” for 1-2 hours before attempting to turn it on, just to see if the battery can be kick started back to life at least enough for the charger to be able to start and run the tablet for you to retrieve your data.

yes,it is the little charging port. I just found one on line and ordered it. I will let you know how it goes in a few days Thanks
