I have look all over and can’t find a place that sells a replacement battery for the Dell Inspiron 3582. It released in early 2019 so they should have replacement batteries our by now, right? I also had to create the Dell Inspiron 3582 for ifixit because there was no info on it yet. I hope someone can help. Thanks!

Hi @bluefire ,
Here’s the service manual for the laptop.
Go to p.28 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the battery.
If @aactech ‘s answer doesn’t suit you for whatever reason, when you have access to the battery, locate the battery model number printed on the battery and then search online using the battery model number only in the search box of your browser.
Bit surprising that the battery has to be replaced so early, as it is barely over a year old, if that.
If it is not yet a year old, contact Dell regarding the problem before opening the laptop and thus voiding the warranty.
