My s4 is dead

So I got a Samsung s4 the battery was dead and didn’t charge so I bought a new battery still didn’t charge so I bought a new port and it now charges and there is a current flow the phone even gets warm but I try to turn it on and it does nothing. No vibrate no led charging light. Literally nothing. I’ve tried everything including pressing volume/home/power at the same time it still does nothing..
