I bought a new charger thinking this was going to fix my issue. Nope. Bought new correct charger. Tablet turns on BUT STAYS AT ZERO :(
Kept it on for hours on charger and still stayed at 0%.
Help! I love my tablet!!!

Maybe I phrased it wrong.
Does the tablet show that the charger is connected, even though the battery is apparently not being charged?
If not then I’m wondering if there is a problem with the charging connector (supplier example only) in the tablet.
Here’s an image taken from the ifixit Samsung Galaxy View Motherboard Replacement guide that shows where it is located on the motherboard. The guide will help to gain access to the connector so that it can be disconnected from the motherboard and tested to make sure that there is continuity through the connector to the cable plug that is attached to it.

If it does show that the charger is connected and if it won’t stay on or even turn on using the battery only I’m wondering if there is a problem with the battery.
Here’s the ifixit Samsung Galaxy View Battery Replacement guide which will help you to remove / replace the battery.
Replacement batteries aren’t that cheap though.
Search online for Samsung Galaxy View SM-T670 battery (if this is your model number) to get results for suppliers of the part.

The tablet does show that it is charging, I left it on all night. I checked it this morning and it is at 1%. So I do believe it might be the battery.
Roughly how expensive are the batteries?
You may get different results to me because of location so as suggested search for "Samsung Galaxy View SM-T670 battery"

I was just on Amazon looking so thanks for the short cut. Will check my device number to make sure I get the right one. The instructions don’t look to hard. I think I can handle 7 steps. Thanks for the advice.
Is there a way to check the model number without having to take the device apart i.e. settings perhaps?

Nope. It will shut right off.

That’s why I thought I needed a new cord. With the old one it would even stay on at all.
